Terms of Service
Last updated: October 9, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Shipfound (the "Service"): shipfound.co, the Shipfound plugin for Claude Code and Codex, the Shipfound MCP server and Shipfound analytics. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
What the Service does
Shipfound helps software products get found in Google and named in AI answers such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude. Your own coding agent does the work in your repository, your browser and your inbox, using data, checks and analytics from Shipfound. Every code change is a pull request that you review and merge. Shipfound never posts, publishes, submits or sends anything for you: you press post, submit, send and merge yourself.
Accounts
- You must give accurate information and keep your login details and API keys secure.
- You are responsible for everything done under your account, including by agents you connect to it.
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
Plans and credits
The Service has a free plan and paid monthly plans: Builder at $49 a month with 300 credits, and Growth at $99 a month with 700 credits. Paid plans renew each month until cancelled. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments. Prices may change, and we will tell you before a change affects a plan you already hold.
Credits pay for search data, AI visibility checks and verification. Every priced tool states its price, and your agent asks you before it runs a job that costs more than 5 credits. Extra credits are sold in packs of 100 for $15, and purchased credits do not expire. Each plan includes a monthly number of analytics events; events over that number are billed at $10 per 500k, and tracking does not stop.
The 90-day promise
On Growth, if your product is not named by day 90, you pay nothing more until it is, for up to 3 months. "Named" means: Your product appears in at least 2 of 4 runs, on at least one engine, for at least one of your tracked questions. A free month is applied as a credit on the subscription, not as a cash refund, and months already paid are not refunded. The promise ends if the subscription is cancelled.
Cancelling
You can cancel a paid plan at any time. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and you keep access until then.
Your content and responsibilities
- You keep ownership of what you submit and of the work your agent produces with the Service. You are responsible for reviewing it before you merge, publish or send it.
- You are responsible for what you publish and for following the rules of every platform you post to, such as Reddit, X, Hacker News, Product Hunt and directories.
- You may only connect a site or app that you own or are authorized to promote.
- If you install Shipfound analytics on a site, you are responsible for telling its visitors and, where the law requires it, collecting their consent. Our Privacy Policy describes what the analytics collects.
- You may not use the Service for spam, bulk email, fake reviews, vote manipulation, or anything unlawful, deceptive or infringing.
AI-generated output
Briefs, drafts and other output are produced with AI and may contain errors. We do not guarantee their accuracy, originality or fitness for any purpose. Review and edit everything before you use it.
AI engines and results
AI engines and search engines are run by third parties, change without notice, and can answer the same question differently from one run to the next. Our results are samples of their answers at the time we asked. Apart from the 90-day promise above, we make no guarantees about AI answers, citations, rankings, traffic, listing approvals or other results.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by trying to reverse-engineer it, overload or disrupt it, get around credit limits, rate limits or security measures, or use it to violate the rights of others or the law.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design and branding, belongs to Shipfound. These Terms do not give you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, Shipfound is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenue. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim.
Termination
We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or misuse the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will change the date at the top, and continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
