Shipfound is a plugin for Claude Code and Codex that turns your coding agent into your growth engineer. Every day it picks the change most likely to bring you signups, ships it as a pull request in your own repo, and checks from the outside that it went live. It is for founders who built a product and now need customers.
What it does
- Gets you found in Google and AI answers. It fixes what search engines and AI bots cannot read on your site, writes answer, comparison and glossary pages, and gets them indexed.
- Checks whether AI engines name you. A visibility run asks 10 buyer questions on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Google's AI Mode and AI Overviews, 4 runs each, and counts how often you are named.
- Fixes the way to signup. It reads your home page as a first-time visitor would, follows every button to signup and payment, and ships what loses people as an A/B test.
- Lists you where buyers look. Directories, launch boards like Show HN and Product Hunt, and the lists AI answers cite, filled in your own browser for you to submit.
- Counts what worked. Its analytics show visits, AI bot visits and signups per change, so you see which work paid off.
- Covers iOS apps too. An App Store listing audit, fixes, screenshot tests and Apple Ads proposals.
How it works
You install the plugin, run /shipfound:audit once, then /shipfound:grow each day (in Codex: "What should I do today?"). Your agent does the work in your repo, your browser and your inbox. Shipfound's server supplies the search data, the AI answer checks, the content briefs and the outside checks. Your agent uses your own Claude or OpenAI subscription, so credits pay for data and checks, not for the thinking. Install commands.
What it never does
- It never merges a pull request. Every change goes on its own branch for you to review.
- It never posts, publishes or sends for you. It fills the form or writes the draft; you press submit.
- It never uses accounts you do not own, buys links or writes reviews.
- It never calls work done until its server has checked it live.
What it costs
Free, Builder at $59 a month and Growth at $99 a month. The free plan includes the access audit, one baseline visibility check and 20 credits to start, with 20 more every month. Builder has 100 credits a month, Growth 500.
Which sites it works with
Pull requests go into Next.js, Astro, Nuxt, SvelteKit, Hugo and plain HTML sites. On other stacks it still runs the audit, indexing and analytics.
How it compares
Dashboards such as Peec AI measure how a brand shows up in AI answers. Shipfound runs in your coding agent and ships the changes that move those answers. Shipfound vs Peec AI.
